Subject: doherty-eMERGE list

Description: eMERGE is a network of all staff within the Doherty Institute who self-identify as early- or mid-career, regardless of contract and working arrangements (e.g., researchers, research assistants, scientists, clinicians (including those doing a PhD), teaching staff, and professional staff). Membership is capped at the equivalent of academic Level C or UoM 7 for other staff.

eMERGE’s policy aims to promote, and champion eMERGE representation within all levels of the Institute thereby
(i) increasing the engagement and alignment of eMERGERs with the higher leadership of the Institute,
(ii) enhancing the diversity and inclusivity of the leadership,
(iii) improving the identity of eMERGERs within the Doherty Institute, and
(iv) providing leadership and professional development opportunities for eMERGERs.
